Merlin Mann & Kathy Sierra: One Mind, Two Halves?

December 19th, 2006 by Corey Davis

I’m catching up on my RSS feeds this morning and just got finished reading a very interesting piece on the Creating Passionate Users blog titled “How to be better at almost anything“. The post describes how the smart, deliberate thinking half of our mind is constantly pushed into the corner by our chatty, less intelligent half. Not ten minutes later I find myself reading “Life Hacks: Smarty Pants v. Dumbass” on 43 Folders. While Merlin (43 Folders) gives credit to the inspiration for his post to a recent NYT Magazine article, Kathy (Creating Passionate Users) does not mention her muse but I can only assume that it would be the same article.

Unless Merlin and Kathy are just the two halves of the same mind? I won’t even speculate on which one would be which half. ;-)
