iCal’s History and Future

Apple LogoHere is yet another very interesting story from the guys at appleinsider.com. This one gives a nice historical overview of calendaring and scheduling on computers, appropriately starting with PLATO Notes, runs through the various releases of Lotus Agenda , Organizer , Notes, Exchange, iCal, and lesser known calendaring software, finally culminating in what we will see in Leopard with iCal v3.0 and the Leopard iCal Server.
