Happy Yellowday!

August 11th, 2008 by Corey Davis

Unfortunately I am not in town for today’s Yellowday festivities which means I’m not online either. Well, I’m probably posting some inane comments or harassing your intelligence via Twitter, but I’m not coding today or watching the blogs or partaking in any of the Yellowday funness. However, I am wearing yellow. Or […]

Help Name Our New Application

August 11th, 2008 by Corey Davis

In celebration of Yellowday ‘08 I would like for you to help name Conxsys’s newest application.
As you likely know, if you follow this blog, I have been absent from blogging lately. Some of this is because the short items I used to post here now go up on Twitter, but mostly it is because […]

SnTT: Forgotten LotusScript: NotesUIWorkspace.Prompt

August 7th, 2008 by Corey Davis

From time-to-time I have come across Notes applications that customers have written that ask the user for another database. Usually this is done to export data or because some type of processing must take place against this other data source. For whatever reason this is being done, the point which the user is […]

SnTT: Adding a Database Size Indicator to Notes 8

April 24th, 2008 by Corey Davis

I have been meaning to post this SnTT for several weeks now, but have not found the time to finish it. Chris Miller’s post yesterday, Do Your Users Understand a Stoplight Signal?, points out the new and improved quota reporting in the 8.0.1 mail template and has prompted me to finish this post. […]

Flow v1.0 Beta 2 Released…Again

April 21st, 2008 by Corey Davis

Deja vu?  Not exactly.  More like stupid user.  In this case, that would be me.  I accidentally posted a locally encrypted database up to the Flow project on OpenNTF last week.  The problem has been fixed, so if you downloaded v1.0 Beta 2 last week please try again.

Flow v1.0 Beta 2 Released

April 16th, 2008 by Corey Davis

This latest release of Flow fixes a bug that was causing rich-text, email, and plain-text documents to be saved and/or sent even if no events or errors had been logged. This resulted in a log document containing nothing more than the start/stop time of the application. If you always want a log document […]

Underselling Lotus Notes

March 12th, 2008 by Corey Davis

I’m setting here scratching my head over this post in Business Week’s Byte of the Apple blog today. It discusses the enterprise integration of the iPhone now that the SDK is out and one piece of information puzzled me (emphasis mine):

But having crossed out one round of problems, a new crop will inevitably […]

ActiveSync Planned for iPhone from Beginning

March 7th, 2008 by Corey Davis

Yesterday was full of dissapointment and complaining about the lack of a mention of Lotus integration into the iPhone. However, it may be that Lotus never really had a chance to take part in the big show . Apparently Apple and Microsoft have been in talks to license ActiveSync […]

Exchange Usurps Notes in iPhone Annoucement

March 6th, 2008 by Corey Davis

To anyone who follows the tech news at all, and probably even if you don’t, you likely already know that Apple made several announcements today related to the iPhone . There has been much anticipation ever since the Opening General Session at Lotusphere in January when Domino Web Access was announced for the […]

I Finally Bleed Yellow!

March 4th, 2008 by Corey Davis

As always, I am way behind the curve on these things, but I have finally registered on bleedyellow.com . No, I didn’t miss it when it was first announced. After all, it was hard to miss the pre-launch marketing in its almost viral effort to attract attention (yes, that is jealousy). […]
