There is nothing more frustrating than having a powerful and potentially useful application at your fingertips that is difficult to use.  That is why simplicity was a key engineering point during the development of Logistic.  After all, why give you all this power if you can't figure out how to use it?

It doesn't matter. Logistic for Lotus Domino is a pure Domino application. Written in LotusScript, it can run on any platform and operating system that Domino can run on. That means:

- No bloated DLLs or JARs
- No executables to install
- No downtime for installation or configuration
- Adheres to Domino security
- Platform independent

Logistic comes with a simple LotusScript-based installer (can be bypassed by expert administrators) and requires absolutely no downtime to install or configure. No Domino server tasks to load or restart. No INI parameters to modify. It is all self-contained in one, simple to use Domino database. And unlike similar tools, Logistic does not require any email template modifications in order to take full advantage of it’s powerful features.

Centralized Management

You love Domino. We love Domino. But let’s be honest, it’s not always easy to find your way around. Some configuration is done in the Domino Directory, some in Administration Requests, and yet other options are available directly through the notes.ini file. We could name more, but you get the point.

That’s why one of the key engineering goals of Logistic for Lotus Domino was easy to use, centralized management. No hunting. No searching. Everything you need right there in one database.

Almost every field in every document has pop-up help. Yes, we wrote a manual, but we know you won’t have time to read it. That is why we spent significant time building Logistic in a manner that will help you get your job done quickly, easily, and with as little reference to the manual as possible.

Flexibility

It’s an email purge utility. It’s an email legal discovery tool. It’s an email retention compliance watchdog. It’s a email database statistical analysis package.

It’s Logistic for Lotus Domino and it’s all of the above.

Not often do you come across one tool that can accomplish so many distinct and useful tasks. And it can perform each task a multitude of ways.

For instance, you can tell it to purge 90-day old email from the executives, but ignore all calendar and to do tasks. At the same time it can purge all email over 30-days old from the other employees.

You can run a discovery job for a keyword on one Domino server, while running another discovery job for a different keyword on a different Domino server.

You can run different jobs on different days to balance the load. Purge mail from all users A-F on Monday, G-L on Tuesday, M-R on Wednesday, and S-Z on Thursday.
